Transit Is the Future
Public transit riders, workers, small businesses, and elected officials are coming together across the country to save transit and point the way to the future. "Transit is the Future" forums are being held in New York, Miami, New Orleans, Oakland, Philadelphia, Charlotte, San Francisco, and Denver to talk about the future of public transpiration in the US in 2021 and beyond.
What does the future of public transportation look like amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic? How is transit essential to any economic recovery in this country? Transit is the future, what is the best way to invest in it?
The forums also are united around a set of Transit Justice Principles to ensure equity, access, sustainability, and affordability. Download the Transit Justice Principles.
